TP53 germline mutations are common in Li-Fraumeni syndrome (PMID: 30239254) and somatic missense mutations are frequent in almost all cancer types cancers (PMID: 30224644) and are also implicated in chemoresistance (PMID: 9927204, PMID: 24065105, PMID: 27066457). |
